yesterday evening, i walked a familiar walk....after a long time, i went for a walk in the lodhi gardens
the sun had set, the birds were still chirping...i felt a sense of anticipation as i entered the familiar gate..the anticipation of seeing the regular faces of joggers and dogs...the all familiar joggers track....
as i started my jog on the track..it was a feeling of deja vu..of coming back to a long lost love as joggers walked past me, and with me, some old some young some known faces from a year back, some new faces....
every nook and cranny was the same, but yet so different..the sounds of silence were the same....the crickets buzzing, the dogs howling, the rustle of the leaves..even the shades of the lamp posts was so endearing and same, yet so new....
it was an evening of pot pourri of feelings for me...anticipation, deja vu, nostalgia, happiness, peace and calmness....i wish i visit the place more often...but somehow i am not able to..
however, the times i do visit it, im thankful to it for the wonderful experience i have everytime!!!

Wonderful description with mind-blowing pictures. Though I have been to Lodhi Garden several times but never captured such wonderful pictures like yours. Excellent post.

@austere..knowing lodhi gardens as i do, i can safely say its totally safe for lone women...
i used to jog regularly at odd hours there and never faced any problems and there are lots of lone women jogging at any given point of time...early dawn, morning or late evenings.....
I am yet to visit this place. Nice images
