Yummmmmm!!!!!!..thats the first thing comes to my mind when i think about this place.
Wendgers Pastry shop is the ultimate fantasy for anyone with sweet tooth...its located in one of my other favorite place in delhi..Connaught Place(or Rajiv Chowk as its known officially!!!),
a childhood favorite, i have been coming here since i can remember.....and though there are so many pastry shops in fdelhi, none can compete with this Wendgers!!
Established in 1926, around the same time Connaught Place has just been built, it has maintained its quality and yumm factor since!!!
The shop opens up everyday at 11 am and even before its open, people queue up in front of it(i have been one of them quite a few times!!!!).....
and oh!! the smell of freshly baked bread and pastries that wafts in when one enters the just opened wendgers cannot be described..its just heavenly!!!!!!!!!........
The place is always packed with people and is finished of all goodies long before its closing time, which is 8 pm.

So guys, if you are ever in delhi and land up in Connaught Place, do drop in at Wendgers Pastry Shop, ill guarantee you' ll come out with a sweetest mouth and a full tummy!!!

CP-OMG, that, Janpath and Palika Bazaar(in spite of the crowds)- three of my fav places in Delhi..you just made me long to visit there positively next year..and,so I will.:)
