A small change and a BIG Shift!!

View from the terrace of my new home..

Sometime back, I had shared my thoughts on change and how the lack of it sometimes brings negativity(click here to read).

Since then, I am happy to say, a small change has taken place in my life...a change I had been looking forward to, for a long time...We have shifted to a new house in a new location in the city; though calling it new location would not exactly be entirely true as I have lived in this neighbourhood  most of my life up until marriage. This small change has brought a big shift in my mental set up...nowadays I am much more calmer, happier and chilled out..and this is  noticed by everyone; friends, colleagues, family and most importantly, the person who has to spend the maximum time with me - the husband!!
And on a more emotional note, I feel connected to my Dad here; going to the same shops & markets reminds me of the innumerable times I went alongside him, talking a walk in the park reminds me of the times we used to go for a walk together..there are so many small incidences and memories which i come across in my neighbourhood ......it's as if I'm living my happy memories in real time....and that Dad is so much with me and not gone!!Thanks to all of you who empathised and supported me during the un-changing times!!!

Love the life you live….live the life you love!!!!! This is what your profile describes. Now I am happy you can do both.

That the old neighborhood is relatively unchanged is a wonder. The farmland I used to ride my bike through to get to the Missouri river to swim is now all housing and development; but we don't live there anymore.
I am glad you are happy at your new "digs".

Its feels so good when changes affect us in a positive manner...
When I too visit Haridwar with my father, I see that glint in his eyes, as he spent his entire childhood there...
It really means a lot.
Have a fabulous week ahead:)
