When I post travel pics of my work trips (click here, here and here)...A lot of fellow bloggers' expressed awe and envy on the fact that I get to travel so much due to work and wished that they had my job!!
Well, I would like to tell them , don't wish for my job.....coz most of the times, when on site work, Im dressed like this:
And going about construction sites like these(for those who are not able to make out what the below pic is...its all hydro power tunnel in construction!!)
My point of this post, there's no dream job in the world, certainly not mine!!!

OMG!!! You look so cute!!! Like really badass :)))) Total tough chick! though yes, dressing like this day after day must be tiring and limiting.

These images are impressive...as I am new to your blog, what is your job?! BTW, loved your pictures with the beautiful saris...Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
It looks fun even with how you are dressed! I am always jealous of people who get to travel a lot for work...
@notjustaprettydress - thanks for visiting here!!
im into infrastructure consultancy
Ha ha...getting to dress up the right way is very important for me when it comes to choosing career. But I Do have to say that you lend a certain dignity to the otherwise hideous outfit!:P
You're blogging after a long time,aren't you?
I think that you are gorgeous even at the toughest job.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
You have got an interesting job.. I am sure that the dress that you wear does not matter... All that matters is travelling.. Do you agree?
Do you just wear this outfit? You don't do the work?
@margaret cloud - quite an interesting question...well im into infrastructure consultancy..so my job involves going on the site to see how the work is going on and prepare reports on those...and thank god i dont have to work in those sites...going around walking and observing is hard enough, i can't imagine working there..its real tough..much tougher than just walking around the sites(which in itself is tough in any weather condition!!)
hahaa well said... no dream job... but may be your one is little bit more interesting than staying with illness all the time :)
cheers! thanks for visiting my travel blog... and certainly give a visit to Dooars... you'll love it.
@anunoy samanta - i happen to live with someone(husband) who is always with sick people coz he's a surgeon..so i know dat side too!!
What do you mean? You look very glam. The most important thing about work is to enjoy what you do. Xxxx
There is always a good side and bad side. I'm glad that you are safe!

Wow, you have a ton of courage to be going into the mines, hats off to you for doing so!
I hope you don't mind if I tag along for the ride, I only read this one post and I'm interested in learning more about you.
Have a great evening and thanks for stopping into my world! Cheers.
Hi Sushmita,
You must be a Civil Engineer or tunneling expert hence the overalls & helmet. You look quite great in the uniform, something you can be proud of. There are very few girls in this profession which has hitherto been the bastion of males only. You are unique in that sense. Must be an interesting on site job - your passion perhaps. All the more reason to envy you - you not only have a job you love but you also get to see nature in all her glory and get to take amazing pics !
@R.Ramakrishnan - yes, am a civil engineer by education but not by profession..am into infrastructure consultancy....which involves going over the site once in a while.....which is a nice experience always..but mostly am working in the office
thanks for appreciating a girl's efforts in this field though..even infra consultancy is tough!!!
The grass is always greener eh? You look so cool in that outfit!
A fun post. Seems like you get to see life from various perspectives in your work.
Wow! What an interesting job :) Those pictures are so interesting!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog <3

That's pretty much how I dress for work so I feel your pain.
your wrk involves travel and you love writing...deadly combination :) few lucky ones get that!!
Wow!
Women who work jobs that require brains and brawn really have my admiration! Keep up the great work :)
I would rather say...love whatever u do... as that gives you courage in low times to work well... being a mining engg i know what a remote location is and these seem to be pretty good.. :)
think someone working more than 600m deep in the earth...even fresh air and light doesnot reach there.. so in that respect yours is an awesome job... but still i love my field. :)
